About Phil Chura,

Phil Chura received his Masters Degree in 1982 and received his certification from the Professional Photographers of America (PPA) in 1992. (**see note) He is a teaching photographer conducting many classes for area photographers through PPA.

Phil started in photography on 1963. Photographing team, sports and nature photography. After graduating from college he took up photography as a hobby photographing his children. In 1970 he became a part time staff photographer for Honeywell Information Systems in Lawrence Ma. In 1972 he opened Chura’s Photography specializing in family and children’s photography. In 1985 Phil left the computer industry, moved the studio to its current location in Hampton Falls. Phil and his wife Patricia have 4 children and 7 grand children. Patricia who is also a photographer assists Phil in the studio and many of his weddings.

After 30 years, Phil still enjoys weddings. The difference is he treats each client as an individual and creates images that are unique and special for the them. After the couple chosen their images, he helps them create a album that is unique and truly one of a kind.
